New book reviews: Dinosaurs of the British Isles AND British Polacanthid Dinosaurs
Posted by David Penney on
We are very pleased to announce a nice new dual review of two of our titles: Dinosaurs of the British Isles by Dean Lomax and Nobumichi Tamura AND British Polacanthid Dinosaurs by William T. Blows, just published in the latest edition (Fall 2017) of Priscum, the newsletter of the Palaeontological Society. Here is a brief snippet from the review:
"I really should plan a holiday on the Isle of Wight. That is the strongest impression I received from reading these two recent books from Siri Scientific Press. That little island has an unusually rich concentration of dinosaur fossils, comprising both skeletal material and footprints. And if I were lucky enough to make such a trip, these two books would definitely be in my suitcase. ... The quality of reproduction of photographs in both books is crisp and clear, both books have glossy pages, and the text is easy to read. Siri Scientific Press has done a very nice job of producing both of them."
