Posted by David Penney on
We are pleased to announce a new nice book review of our recent title: Field Guide to Butterflies of the Philippines, just published in the journal Tropical Lepidoptera Research (2017, 27(2): 28). The review concludes as follows: "This book is certainly very useful for schools, research institutions, and universities, especially in the Philippines. As a person who grew up in the country, there is definitely a need for schools to have natural history books in their libraries and P. Hardy and J. The most surprising thing...

Posted by David Penney on
It is always a pleasure to hear that our books are valued and used by our customers, whether they be general readers, students or academics. It is also encouraging to see an increasing number of overseas institutional libraries stocking our titles for research purposes. A quick search of academic citation records shows that many of our titles have been cited in the scientific literature to date, but by far the best in this regard is our title: Biodiversity of Fossils in Amber from the Major World Deposits, edited by David Penney and published in 2010. It was reviewed in the...
